As a youngster, I remember seeing my first Les Paul in a mom-and-pop music store in suburban Philly. Its beauty, craftsmanship and coolness became etched in my memory.

Today, music and the gear that makes it possible remain an inspiration to me. The Stones, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Cream and all sorts of reggae are among my influences. Can I play? I'm more "so-so" than ZoSo. You won't see me play outside of a campfire strum fest or a living room jam sesh. I play for fun, mental health and learning. I enjoy experimenting with different guitars, amps and pedals.

My view is that quality gear doesn't need to break the bank. Most of my own personal gear came from eBay, Craigslist, local music and pawn shops and guitar shows. You won't find $10,000 collector pieces here. You will find good-quality, pre-loved equipment for a fair price.

Return and Refund Policy

While I am not a trained guitar or amp technician, I will do my absolute best to accurately describe products and ensure that they function as described.

Signs of age and prior use (minor dings, checking, occasional scratchy pot) are to be expected for instruments or equipment that are several years, or even decades, old. I will strive to accurately convey the condition of the gear, and depict its condition in photos. Some of the product information and history might not be available to me. If you have questions or want more photos, please let me know.

If an item arrives non-functioning or is not as described or depicted in the photos, notification to me must occur within 48 hours of delivery. In that case, I will accept returns within 14 days for a full refund on three conditions:

1. The buyer pays for return of the item, with insured shipping;

2. The returned item is packed as securely as it was upon receipt; and

3. The item is in the same condition as when it arrived.

Unfortunately, I can't accept returns because a buyer changed her or his mind.

I want to be as transparent as possible. My goal is to price items at their fair value and provide economical, secure shipping options separately.
