1980 '80 MXR Dyna Comp Block Logo Vintage Compressor.

Here we have a 1981 '81 MXR Dyna Comp Compressor Block Logo version in great condition. The POT codes date this pedal to 1981. The MXR Dyna Comp is one of the iconic pedals from the '70s and early '80s. It sends a jolt into your guitar signal, producing a thicker tone that provides sustain for days. I never knew much about compressors and had never tried one until earlier this year. Lesson learned. A compressor is now a staple in my pedal lineups. The Script Logo versions are far more expensive, upwards of $200 and sometimes $250. Whether the Script version is THAT much better than a Block logo version I can't really say. I certainly couldn't tell in my limited time with this pedal. I think it's a great combination of value and performance. This pedal has a non-original back plate, which has zero impact on performance.
