Early 1970s Epiphone EA-250 Semi-Hollowbody Guitar. Kalamazoo Blue Label. Stunning Red Finish.
Roll out the shag carpet and grab the Vitalis hairspray. Here is a gorgeous early 1970s Epiphone EA-250 with the Gibson Kalamazoo, Michigan blue label still visible through the F-hole. Dating these guitars is difficult. However, we know these were manufactured in Japan at the famed Matsumoku factory. These guitars are becoming more and more collectible and sought after. This one is nearly flawless and sounds amazing. I recently had it set up, re-strung and had the electronics adjusted. It comes with a non-original, but extremely solid case in outstanding shape. I bought this at a guitar show about 20 years ago and it just isn't getting played enough in my rotation. Someone else should enjoy it!
